House Rules We want you to feel at home while also keeping things safe, comfortable, and respectful for everyone. Please take a moment to review these guidelines: 🕒 Check-In / Check-Out Check-in: 4 PM or later (unless we’ve made other arrangements). Check-out: 11 AM sharp so we can prepare for the next guests. 🏡 Respect the Property No smoking or vaping indoors.  Only flush toilet paper and waste. Sanitary items, wipes, cotton pads, condoms, etc. can block the toilet and clearing it will be at your expense. No illegal substances are allowed on the premises No parties, events, photo/film shoots unless approved ahead of time. Due to liability, only registered guests are allowed on the property. No firearms or weapons. No camping No trespassing on neighbors' properties Do not rearrange the furniture. 🔇 Noise & Neighbors Quiet hours: 9 PM – 10 AM. Please keep outdoor gatherings and music at a reasonable level. 🐾 Pets (if applicable) Pets must be approved before arrival. Always clean up after your pet. No pets on furniture or bedding, please. 🛟 Safety First No glass near the pool, hot tub, or fire pit. Children must be supervised at all times. Follow all posted instructions for pool, hot tub, or fire pit use. 🧹 Cleanliness Please leave the space tidy. Place trash and recycling in the outdoor bins provided. Let us know right away about any damage or issues. 💡 Energy Use Turn off lights, heat/AC, and appliances when not in use or when leaving. Keep windows/doors closed if heat or AC is running. 🧺 Laundry & Towels Pool towels are provided—please don’t use bath towels outside. You may use the washer/dryer, but please follow posted instructions. 📋 Other No illegal activity on the property. Reach out anytime if you need help—we’re happy to assist! Break something?  We completely understand that sometimes things break. Your stay is covered under Airbnb’s booking insurance for these kinds of situations. All we ask is that you let us know about any damage or breakages before you leave, so we have time to repair or replace items for the next guests. If something does need replacing, we’ll send you a receipt for the cost, which can be easily settled via Venmo. Thank you for helping us keep everything in great shape for everyone!

Front Door lock: Unlocking a Yale Door Lock Wake the keypad: Touch the screen or press the Yale logo/gear icon at the top to light up the numbers. Enter your code: Type your registered 4-digit user or Backup code (7713) on the keypad. Confirm: Press the check mark (✔) or the Yale logo button to complete the unlock action. Push the door handle down to fully open the door. How to Lock from the Outside Close the door firmly Pull the door handle up and “release” it. Wake the keypad: Touch the screen or press the Yale logo/gear icon at the top to light up the numbers. Enter your code: Type your registered 4-digit user or Backup code (7713) on the keypad. The lock will automatically engage and lock the door. ** DO NOT PUSH THE HANDLE DOWN TO CHECK IT AS IT WILL REVERSE THE LOCK. IT TAKES A MINUTE TO FULLY ENGAGE** How to Lock from the Inside Manual Thumbturn: Just turn the physical thumbturn knob on the inside of the door to slide the deadbolt into place Emergency Key Lock Box: As an emergency backup, there is a Key lock box at the right of the door. The code for this is 7713 ** Please note, This key pad will not open the door, the key inside the box will! Opening with a PIN Code Wake the screen: Touch or press any number on the face of the lockbox to light up the numbers. Enter the code: Type in your valid 4-digit PIN code. Press Unlock: Tap the Unlock icon (the padlock symbol) in the center of the keypad. Pull it open: Wait for the status indicator light to flash green and play an ascending tone, then grip the side notches or pull the front panel down to open Alarm: The Alarm is usually not on, and should not be used during your stay.  Disarming from the Keypad Panel: Once inside, the closet on the right, left wall, you will see the alarm panel. Wake the panel: Press any button or walk up to the panel to light up the screen. Press Off: Tap the physical or touchscreen OFF button on the keypad. Enter PIN: Type your 4-digit PIN. 7713. Verify: The screen will display "Off" and the siren will silence **Note: Inside the Key lock box is also a Alarm fob, that you can also use to turn off the alarm.  Local Safety: Kerhonkson and Accord are quiet, close-knit communities where break-ins are uncommon enough that many residents feel comfortable leaving the front door unlocked—though locking it remains a sensible precaution.
